A few friends and I will be there live. Dawkins and Miller within a 3 week span? Seems like UT is becoming a bastion for evolution popularizers!

Man, the stream was awful -- choppy, intermittent freezing, restarts. I've got a 3 Mbs DSL line, so it wasn''t that. Guess I'll have to wait for the archive.

The archive (http://www.esi.utexas.edu/outreach/ols/archivedWebcast.php?vol=53)is up. It's not edited, so one has to sit through a loooong dead time before the talk actually starts. They added a little Willie Nelson and some good yodeling to the sound track to pass (a little bit of) that time.

ETA: The introduction starts 14'45" into the archive, and the actual talk begins an interminable 23 minutes into the archive.
