It's running at GMT -5, which is not daylight savings time. Are the programs not recognizing the switch to DST (which option I've chosen) due to the earlier change this year?

That's odd. I'm GMT-8 with automatic detection switched on and the time is correct for me.

DST was chosen, but it was turned off to auto-detect daylight savings time. I switched that on, so hopefully that will fix it for ya.
