Visitors

Just a general comment: we have a helluva lot of "visitors" here sometimes. Earlier today there were 17 "visitors" in the Politics forum and just one member (me).

I didn't know our posts were so fascinating to lurkers. :)

I've been wondering if a member who is checking out the board, but who is not logged in, is a visitor.:dunno:

I understand that there are lots of bots around the interwebz who are visitors.

It's quite normal in any forum. People first browse discussions without logging in to see if there's something intresting. I think my percentages are 25 logged, 75 not.

Lurkers are a good thing. I lurked at IIDB for about two weeks before I finally joined. I also understand that some people are not comfortable registering, and some who register are not comfortable posting. To each, their own.

Some are bots but some are lurkers and that could be a good thing. sooner or later they join. :)
