i got this in pm from ADR and am too much of a noob to know i'm afraid.

I noticed, when I hit the "View First Unread," it only takes me to the 1st post of the topic. Is there a way you can fix this?

is this the right place to post such a thing even?

Mucho thanks

That's odd. the view first unread button is working for me. But, I noticed earlier that all the threads were marked unread for some reason, though I had read them. Once I caught up with the new posts, I marked all forums read.

Maybe whatever caused that is part of his problem?

I think Alethias made an adjustment that refreshed the settings.

That said, I have been experiencing some erratic behavior when I click on the Go to New Post icon.

(Doesn't this belong in Bugs? I can move it, if so. *rubs hands and grins*)

It all seems to be fixed and working the way that it should now unless I'm missing something.

Maybe whatever caused that is part of his problem?People seemed to be having issues with the icons not changing when going back and forth between looking at threads and looking at forums. I changed a setting in the admin control panel to store that information in the database instead of in a cookie. When I saved that setting change, it marked threads as unread as an initial default :(.

Not sure, but i think this is fixed. let me know if you still have problems; I'm likely not to notice, because I don't rely on that. I just refresh my browser and the status changes either way, so I never knew there was an issue till someone brought it up.
