I don't know if this has been discussed or mentioned and if it has, please send me to the proper place (no, not that place!) but...
Why is there no date stamp on Opening Posts when they are listed in a forum? (I hope that makes sense - I can't think of another way to put it)
When looking at the overview page of a specific forum I can't tell if a thread has been going for a while or if it's been started in the last day or so. Once I open a thread the dates are all there and that's fine, and the last post is dated so I can tell if the thread is currently active, but there's no way of knowing if the thread has been necromanced, or how long it's been in existence without opening it. I find it annoying, especially for long threads (because I'm nosy and want to stay up with current events) but if there's a specific reason the dates have been left off then that's fine. Just wondering.
Thanks.

There's no specific reason why the opening post dates are left off. It's just the way vbulletin displays forums as a default. I'll add this to the list of things to research how to change. :)

Ahh. Thanks much. Just add it to the bottom of the list then. :)
(Matt might know since RnR has the stamp function)

Yep, this was a hack Matt cooked up and II and RnR.

A very worthwhile one, IMHO.
