The thread on SN1987A got me thinking.

How about a visual representation of (a subset of) the mechanisms, and from them the observable facts, that would change if the age of the universe were compressed down to 6000 years?

I haven't yet thought through exactly how you could represent it, but bigraphs of interrelated items are usually pretty compelling.

Well, I had this idea of a flowchart, then when you mentioned GraphViz, I wondered about that. Would you like to plot something simple out to show us?

I can't offhand think of any observable aspect of the universe which WOULDN'T be different if the world were only 6000 years old.
