It got up to 87 degrees today in Syracuse. And it was about the same yesterday. Our average is high 50's around this time!

Our average high in July isnt even this high.

Its crazy warm. Bad part it, its forcing the trees to come out a bit early.

Winter was bad here. I suspect that summer will be very hot. We've gone from colder than average to warmer than average in a space of 2 weeks.

I must admit, though, that after this winter, temps in the 70s are wonderful.

We are skipping spring here. We've had a couple of warm days about 70 and then it's back to winter and snow. The grass is getting green despite the temps though.

Spring? Warm? Not around here. Deb and I went on a ride today, 40s, rain and mist, cold enough that I took the "winter" bike with the big w/s and heated hand grips. 70 tomorrow they say, and I have the "summer" bike ready to rock, but it hasn't gotten many miles yet this season.

It would have been warm here today if not for the freakin' wind.

Freakin' pollen-laden wind.

Wuss. :p

Was beautiful here today. Mid 70s, no wind. So that was our nice day for the year...

We took advantage of it and went to the zoo.

In the past week we have recieved ~5 inches of snow in 2 separate storms. Tomorrow the temperature will be in the 50s. Mud season, here I come!

The hotter the weather the better to me. I'm gonna go try to talk the hubby into going to the beach.

As soon it gets above 70, I will be whining like a newborn.

Gawd, I hate the heat.

It's been just wierd here. 30's-40's and snow/hail!! Rain I expect but someone told me that snow in April here is a record. I'm just ready for summer :(

Well, I have a lot of my roots in the south so im pretty comfortable in 90 degree heat. :)

Ill tell you what, Ive never felt anything hotter than the 90 degree heat in a xeric prairie. Ive gotten toasted in less that 30 min, and I usually dont burn that easy!

I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. Temperatures above 100 were routine and I've had some very bad sunburns. We didn't have sunscreen when I was growing up, so every "spring", my pals and I would get one bad sunburn to serve as a base for our summer tans. We would lay out by the pool and use baby oil and have tanning contests.

Over the years, though, I developed an aversion to heat. Oh, I can handle it. I just don't like it...not one bit. I'm happy to be here in Michigan where the summers are usually short and there are only a few days where it gets to 90 and above.

What is this heat of which you speak? I think I have heard of such a thing, but alas, in my country it is but a legend.

Seriously, it was warm enough today that I walk the dog without wearing gloves and a hat. That was nice.
