Does TR use clocks made by Dali?

In the TH, in Zoned Out #2 (http://www.talkrational.org/showthread.php?t=5126), the list of threads says the last post was made by dug_down_deep, at 6:04 PM EDT, today.

However, when you open the thread, d_d_d's post says
Yesterday, 11:14 AM #144200 / #8.

There are other threads with time discrepancies, too.

This happens with poll threads. Every time someone votes, the time is updated on the indexes, whether a new post is made or not. But the time on the last post remains correct.

This is a vbulletin feature. It's not something easily fixed. The question comes up every time we have any major polls running.

ah okay, i only just noticed the same effect with teh latest round of the guitar compo.

Nor is it to me- I just was certain that I hadn't posted to that particular thread in at least a day or more.

So a vote is treated as a post- and since there's no name other than the last one to post in the thread, it just bumps up the time stamp. I'll remember that.
