Like it says on the tin, got any particular favourites amongst the millions of music videos out there.
Grainy footage of that gig you were tripping at in 1993,
that music video that you always remember,
the song that made you give up your dreams of being an accountant and pursue a carnal life of sexs drugs and rock and roll instead,
that one bit of footage that still gives you goose bumps,
that rare old interview when Keith Richards still had a pulse and they didnt wipe their arses on 100 dollar bills

any of it, please share.

I'll start with one of my favourite 1 minutes of old boy genius going.
i dare you not to crack a smile and feel slightly happier after watching this video. The awesome Hannes Coetzee

I remember going to see this movie when I was about 11 years old.

I remember seeing it too, and covering my room in Peter Max posters. I already posted a bunch of my favorites on the Hub so I'll have to wait until there are more people that I didn't post them at 2 weeks ago.

Couple of sites that made me think on this here (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/feature/36588-staff-list-100-awesome-music-videos) and here (http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/best_videos.html).

I'd agree with the Gabriel one: remembering seeing that when it first came out, and it remains a great vid:

'Rabbit in Your Headlights' is cool:

With Daft Punk, could have picked a whole bunch: Ulysess 31-tastic!

Not quite sure this one counts, but from one of my all time fave films, Animalympics: loads of great music sequences in this, which would have made for brilliant music vids had the 10cc guy (Graham Gouldman) chopped em up and released them as singles. Maybe he did? Can't remember. But meh: the diving one sticks in my minds, among a whole load of others:

You start bleeding when you hear awesome 80s music? A terrible affliction indeed! What happens when its awesome 70s music?

Love that UNCLE tune slidey. That video is nuts too, i never found a video for the "electric ballroom " track from that album.

I'm with CN on the Jacko tbh, Billie Jean was about the turning point for cool IMSHO. I really lost it when he covered Dont Let Your Son Go Down On Me.

Now i'm aware that many people think this guy is basically an annoying prick, but i think hes awesome and love this video, simple but effective.

Re Billie Jean: Though I'm partial to Off the Wall over Thriller, Billie Jean is nevertheless a fantastic track. Indeed, Blender Magazine rated it the top song "since you were born" (http://www.blender.com/guide/articles.aspx?ID=1777). In other words, it's damn near scientific law that Billie Jean rocks. :D

Re Hannes Coetzee: It took me quite a while to figure out that he was playing slide guitar...using the spoon in his mouth. LOL.

Re Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough. Only one of the greatest r & b tracks of all time. Indeed, it withstood rigorous peer review, all the results of which are documented in an extensive Science Magazine article. :)

...Dont Let Your Son Go Down On Me....

ROFL!!! You are going to hell for that, but...

The Jamiroquai vid is cool, especially the fact (IIRC) that its mainly cool due to Jay Kay's impressive dance skills.

Speaking of teh awesome that is Michael Jackson (well, before the 90s at least), mustn't forget this guy:

Gave me goose bumps man. I saw them on the Division Bell tour in Paris and still get the shivers when Gilmour turns on the feel, which lets face it is what he does best. Top notch, thanks for posting.

I have on some lovely chilled Jack Johnson.

This guys music and film epitomises my life age 15 through about 20.
Beach, waves, a handfull of green, the odd bikini dressed cute girl, no responsibilities and some chilled music played round the campfire.
Shit yeah. That's life. I miss the sea. I am currently a good few hundred miles from the nearest [proper] beach.

Wierd Al cracks me up too.

I was 12 when I first saw this video on MTV.

I immediately fell in love with Annie Lennox's voice and have followed her career closely since.
