View Full Version : Online evolution resource
In addition to those we already know, This View of Life (http://www.thisviewoflife.org/index.html) (new to me at least) seems to offer a good resource.

I will definitely refer non-scientists to this site. It seems to do a good job of explaining evolution without overly technical jargon while addressing common misconceptions about the theory of evolution.
The only problem that I noticed while hurriedly reading through the site was that he says, "single-celled organisms typically only have one set of chromosomes." While there are a few exceptions, in bacteria this statement is largely untrue as most bacteria have a single circular chromosome rather than a set.
Otherwise, I think it is a very good resource.

It's a shame our own flowchart idea never really took off.

Yeah. I still think it's a good idea. I wonder how we could make it work.

I still think mapping it out in a wiki is the best start, as it allows multiple inputs and easy editting. Then, once it's mapped out like that, I'm sure someone could turn it into a flash game of sorts.
The problem is just no one seems to be picking up the ball and running with it.
