Shoes for Industry, Comrade.

I was introduced to Firesign back when I went to Architecture School at Cal Poly. There were two guys who knew all of the first four albums by heart and during the regular late nights in the design labs, they'd do the whole dialog. Then I discovered others at the school and we'd have massive jams. Eventually a few of us did a nightly show on the campus radio station called "Administration Sixth Floor" (the admin building only had 5 floors but there was a giant space above the 5th floor wherein we suspected all sorts of evil was taking place). I have most of the early albums, and The Big Book of Plays which is the script for the first four albums. I got to see them a few years ago, while all four were still alive. The 60s are slowly dying out from under us.

Aaand it's back

They're working on it. After the reboot the system went into something resembling safe mode due to a bunch of file errors. Now it's doing a massive linux version of windows chkdisk. It's at 80% now. Hopefully will wrap up in another 10-15 minutes. And hopefully nothing else goes caterwompus.
