Yep. I'd accept the above word salad I'd pulled out of my ass, but give it little weight or meaning as it would be unimportant and add no meaning to my beliefs, but only the beliefs, motivations, and critical thoughts of someone who professed to understand it. I have made up such word salads in the past and even though I have revealed them to the audience that they are playful bunk, they have been taken as profound and a reflection of a deeper reality. This is why forming cults are so easy.

I've also completely made up data for businesses (well, based it on shaky assumptions) only to have it studied and argued over despite my repeated assertions that all things are assumed and essentially made up, to which the reaction from the decision makers was, "no it isn't."
