Since sanshou gets an MMA thread, this is gonna be my climbing thread.

On that note, tonight is a trad night so long as the weather improves. If the weather doesn't improve I'm gonna be disappointed I hauled my rope and rack to work this morning.

Ran out three pitches today after work while going over gear placement with friends (lol there's a pun there). Finished climbing right around twilight and rappelled in the dark. Spectacular.

Wasn't the intention. Second pitch was slower than expected. We had headlamps though, so it was mostly gravy

Anyways, all packed up for tomorrow's trip. Beta on the traverse is scarce and from an unreliable source, so all we have are a few oblique photos of the crux portions of the traverse. Bringing a 50 m 9.8 mm rope and the following rack:

7 cams to 3"
2 hexes (1" and 2")
12 nuts (to 1")
12 extendable draws
2 cordelettes
Buncha slings (60 cm ad 120 cm)

Alpine start tomorrow morning at 3 AM. Should be laughing it up at a bar in Banff by 7.
