In Round One, I went 5/8 with picks. Only slightly better than a monkey picking randomly. How the hell did Nashville beat the Ducks? Anyway, I did my 2nd Round picks, before they started, I'll spare everyone the analysis.

West:
SJS vs. NAS --> Sharks in 5
STL vs. DAL--> Blues in 7

East:
WSH vs. PIT --> Pens in 6
NYI vs. TBL --> Bolts in 7

Woot! 4/4 inRound 2. 9/12 overall.

TB - Pit should be very interesting especially if Stamkos can come back. I have to think a bit before calling the Conference finals. The IIHF World team Canada might pick up Ellis to round out the defense if he isn't injured.

OK. Both series for Conference Finals are difficult, the teams match up really well. Pittsburgh and Tampa are both fast, deep teams with an offensive upside and stellar goaltending.

But if Murray continues his run, it will be the Penguins in 6 or 7.

St. Louis has the superior defense, San Jose especially with Couture have been really good offensively. But I think Elliott is the better goalie. This series should go a long time, Blues in 7.
