In some sense you are right.

It could be that you, too, as others have pointed out, have no unpleasant experience with the religion they are familiar with. But that is the exception. I was referring to the religion I am familiar with.

why would you consider your personal experience is a basis for concluding religion "no longer serves any useful purpose", and worse still "needs to die"?

why would you assume that I "have no unpleasant experience with the religion they are familiar with"? why would you assume that whether or not I had, this was reason for all religion to die?

for the record, I don't have any religion, I have many problems with the practice of religion, and I don't think all religion should die. because I don't see militant, intolerant atheism as in any sense an improvement.
