One time I told Dave that desirability is not and indicator of accuracy.
He responded quite accurately that it is a reason to pursue a particular area of research.

But I don't think he understood that something being good if it is true is no reason to believe it.

Kent Hovind's version of tax laws were better for him.
Too bad for him it wasn't the real version of tax laws.
