PORTLAND, Ore. -- President Obama’s order involving transgender students and bathroom use in school will have little impact on Oregon’s largest school district, Portland Public Schools.

The district adopted rules on just that issue three years ago.

At Lincoln High School, it’s unclear how many students who are transgender use the bathroom they identify with. The principal said there is only one student who uses a special private bathroom set aside for transgender students.

“Some people have repressed fears about sex in bathrooms,” said Peyton Chapman, Lincoln’s principal.

She believes transgender rights are a civil rights issue not that different from the segregation based on race.

“If we had stopped 50 years ago or 70 years ago with people's discomfort, we'd still have segregated schools. So if people feel it’s weird or uncomfortable we need to address their discomfort through education,” she said.

The school policy seemed fine with every student asked on Friday.

Of course it is. Public pools are an example where a man claiming he is a woman would be allowed by law to change and shower surrounded by girls of all ages, who normally don't worry about men looking at them.

This batshit idea that just because a man claims he is a woman can freely use the girls changing rooms and showers is fucking insanity. Trust me, it will not work. If somebody has a penis and they are naked next to your daughters and wife in the female shower room, and the Government says this is OK and must be allowed, heads will roll.
