Ok, it's 1 week until DS III is released in the States and I guess everywhere else except Japan where it's already out.

I don't think I like there are already Let's Plays out there of the entire game as well as popular streamers able to stream the whole thing on Twitch before we get it.

I understand pre-release copies going to reviewers so reviews will be ready upon release, but giving out hundreds of copies to popular YouTubers and Twitch streamers?

I don't know, just rubs me the wrong way (like your mom did last night)[pre-burn!].

Maybe it's just sour grapes on my part since I can't play it yet and they can.

Most of the people I've watched play it are fucking terrible at video games. If the videos for DSII are any indication, it would just be frustrating and irritating to watch talentless dorks fumble around with the game, and also to have to hear their annoying voices while they get pulped doesn't help either. I've been avoiding all the video besides the few clips I've seen here and there.

Yeah, I've been avoiding spoilers as much as possible. I'm not watching any of the Let's Plays or Twitch streams of the game. I'm trying as hard as possible to make this a blind playthrough.

However, I do watch Dark Souls vids when I'm having trouble with a boss or wanting to get a handle of the lore/story so on my YT homepage a bunch of DS III vids are showing up and it's annoying to see YTers beating the game when it hasn't been released for play to the public.

Grumble. I'm not buying it. I can't even live through all of DS2, not gonna suffer the humiliation of terminal repetitive death syndrome in another one. Apparently DS in general expects you to actually have good hand-eye coordination. So fuck it. I'll stick with Fallout for a bit longer.
