Slate of Admin Candidates - Please Vote

The procedure in use for this poll is here:

:

The admins may decide that one or more new admins are required.
All willing members may nominate themselves for election.
A poll is started in the Town Hall with one option for each of the candidates, including a "none of the above" dummy candidate.
After one week of voting the top candidate(s) are chosen to fill the vacancies.
Candidates polling higher than the "none of the above" candidate may be returned as admins.
Candidates may only be returned as admins to the limit of the number of admins required.
If the number of candidates polling higher than "none of the above" is insufficient the procedure is restarted, or a temporary admin is elected, or both.
Staff may veto the winning candidate(s) by majority vote if they deem the candidate(s) unsuitable

We have 2 admin slots open, and 13 candidates have agreed to put their hats in the ring.

The poll is multiple choice - vote for as many candidates as you wish. The two candidates with the most votes will be successful, provided the "None of the above" option doesn't get more votes than they do.

The candidates, with links to their statement threads, are (in alphabetical order):

Okay, I have one question. Since we can vote for more than one person, do we have to vote all at once or can we vote ie:

BART FOR ADMINISTRATOR

now and then vote again for other candidates that we are still on the fence with?

You only get one shot at voting. If you are still undecided about some, it would be best to wait until you've come to a decision.

okay thanks. btw, I think it is biased to provide a link itt to the TCH were the first post puts certain candidates in a bad light imho...

That may be. But protecting someone's appearance comes right up against the transparency that members expect when posts are moved. But, I can start a separate derail thread for this one.

well the top two are going to win. If we have a multiple tie or two or more in 2nd place then we'll err... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it

no; it's a valid choice. It means that if none of your voted candidates get in, you would prefer a rerun of the election.

Not really, you'd be saying I vote for a,b and c, and I really don't want x,y,z etc.

It is nearly how I voted, but there is only one dude I really hate the thought of as an admin.

That is no longer a requirement, per the revised charter from last June/July.
