correct, russian time travel hackers put homophobic comments in her old blog posts and the archive dot org captures of them

the weirdest part is that, when people first found some anti-LGBT posts back in December, she apologized for them!

but now they find some more and it's all a massive conspiracy to bring her down

this cycle's map should have been a blood bath for the Democrats

I generally think accelerationism is dumb, but I wonder what we'd be looking at for the midterms under a hypothetical Clinton Presidency. Republican supermajorities in both houses?

tying their whole ideology to the dumbest possible celebrities to own the libs

Politics and Current Events / Re: Trumpocalypse
also the fact that racists exist and their support of a racist gets falsely attributed to "economic anxiety" does not mean there aren't also a lot of people who are anxious about their economic situation, nor that trump didn't exploit that anxiety

eta: the idea that there can only be the first one is willful stupidity

The thing is that lots of these fucking geniuses prioritize the resentment over their actual economic situation.

Witness the LA Times piece on the Central Valley farmers who are literally being hurt by Trump's policies but would vote for him all over again even if it means they take an economic hit.

I was just in the central valley!

It is prime maga territory

lots of "MAKE CALIFORNIA GREAT AGAIN!" and anti-Pelosi signs as well

My problem with the "economic anxiety" narrative is that it places all the blame on poor white people and none on the wealthy/HENRY conservative base that actually reliably votes GOP in every election forever.

So, yeah, there is a real "economic anxiety" aka "the status quo sucks, maybe this guy will blow it up" angle there, but it's used to give cover and assign blame in a sweeping narrative.

I don't remember what thread was recently talking about economic anxiety but

it's definitely cool that his dad gave him back his guns too

also, in item 2, "CITE" instead of an actual citation lmao

Plenty of wealthy and middle class whites voted and continue to support Trump.

Uneducated poor people generally don't vote, r or d

E: Iirc the Nazis main base of support came from the professional class as well.

On the other hand:
Quote
Sessions said he would have had to consider leaving as the attorney general had Trump ousted Rosenstein, this person said.

"would have to consider leaving"
remember when there was a "suicide pact" with Tillerson, Mattis, and Mnuchin (lol who gives a shit about Mnuchin)? Yeah, they held real tight to that one.

Illinois democrats should run ads with clips of rauner's old ads showing rauner with greitens.  it will be an effective reminder because people will remember the old ads.  obviously make the clips mute, black and white, and slowed down.
the ads didn't have rauner in them, it was just smug bullshit from Greitens, Walker and whatever idiot runs Indiana about how Dems have ruined Illinois

I'm glad this shit came to light because Rauner was running some really obnoxious ads here in Illinois that featured friends Greitens among other shit governors. As soon as this story first broke, those ads disappeared.

It's a political move to put this sort of thing in the press and keep Trump's merry band of morons on the legal defensive, and if it ever gets to discovery lol
