Don't know. Don't care.

Did you also stick your tongue out after writing that?

Poor man-child.
The best thing is that Dave knows what he writes conveys exactly what he meant.  And so he knows he was wrong when his stupidity is exposed by people.
How he subsequently lies and weasels is then where things get funny and further stupidities are exposed.  Just more episodes in the  seemingly never ending Hawkins sitcom.  Should be on Fox.
How did the self-control part evolve?
Like vox said, not a simple explanation, and one you have failed to honestly engage in in the past.
If you really wanted to learn, there are folks here far more qualified than I to explain it and, gosh, they've tried.
I would like to see your side become honest and admit that you don't have any explanation. Just as you don't have any explanation for how life got started on Earth. Just as you don't have any explanation for the origin of diversity of species.
You're wrong, though.
I have learned so much on these threads - not from you, but from all the cool, interesting science posted in rebuttal to you.
It's painfully obvious that you disregard anything that conflicts with what you want to believe, so you will never understand what they have been trying to teach you.
And it's sad, because you really do want to know this stuff. And you would enjoy knowing it!
I hear this off and on from various people here. Let me list some of the things that I think you should have learned from me... Some of the most important things...

1) how to maintain healthy, food-producing farm animals with no medications whatsoever while at the same time improving and restoring your ecosystem.

2) RM + NS is being rejected by more and more scientists within the life sciences as a creative force in nature

3) many indigenous groups around the world had near Perfect Teeth and near-perfect health back in the 1930s.

4) most viruses are not bad, contrary to popular opinion. In fact life on Earth would not be possible without them. One of their key functions is to "pollinate" bacteria with needed genes.

5) Nuking bacteria with antibiotics is a dead end Street and will not result in the long-term health of humanity.

6) vaccinations are only a good thing in very specific, unnatural contacts.

7) the fact of continent-sized sheets of sandstone which are extremely flat and extremely thin Force us to conclude that there must have been a giant cataclysm in the past.

There's more, but that's a start.

You deluded crackpot!
How did the self-control part evolve?

You must have missed the self control genes, what with the prostitutes and all.
No Borealis I don't have a low opinion of men. I have a realistic view of men because I am one. And once in awhile I run across women who also have a realistic view of men. I had a business partner one time who had a wife like this. She understood that men are more visually oriented than women and she made sure to meet that need for him in some pretty creative ways. You have misjudged me and if you are like most women, you have misjudged all men. There are very few women on the face of the Earth who really understand men properly and on the flip side there are very few men who truly understand women. This might explain why a pastor friend recently confided in me that he believe that half of all marriages split up and of the half that stay together only half of those are truly happy.

No Dave.  What you should be having is a low opinion of yourself.
"displaying her wares"

They aren't wares Dave.

To many women, they are. And they know how to use them to manipulate and control men.

Women?  I thought you were talking any age like you said earlier?
Alfonso, Dave has already explained that *in this culture*, girls that age are probably not yet ready to be woo-hooed.

In other cultures they may be fair game. It would help if you could get some woman to approve of the impending woohoo first though.
Personally, I would be very careful about woo hooing anything about a woman's physical appearance to a her face in any culture.  She may be the type that enjoys that sort of thing, but she may not be.

Well Dave, this particular 12 year seems to enjoy it as she smiled at me after I 'woo-hoo'd'.  I asked a nice white lady next to me if the 12 year old seemed happy and she said that she did (so the happiness of the 12 year old is without doubt).
That was when the father punched me.  Why, I do not know, because as you said, this is normal manly behaviour.

Now, if I could somehow get her into slavery, at least I'd have the biblical god on my side.
Oh boy here we go again on a week-long self-righteous preaching rant.

Then quit trying to justify your gross written attitude towards young girls, Dave. You're coming across as a real creep, and believe it or not, no one here wants to believe that's the real Dave Hawkins. It's revolting.

Do you see anyone anywhere on TR drooling over really young girls? No, you don't. You're the exception here.
I'm not going to quit anything I'm doing unless I perceive it to be wrong.  And your spin and misrepresentation and manipulation won't make me perceive anything to be wrong - except that you're a being a dick.  (I suppose you like the word "dick" better than "bitch" ... whatever ... today's modern women and all that I guess)  I don't think you realize just how much you lie and misrepresent with almost every post.  This one, for instance.  Look what you wrote.

Do you see anyone anywhere on TR drooling over really young girls? No, you don't. You're the exception here.

A half truth at best if I'm generous.  You can do better.  You really are capable of making 100% truthful statements Borealis.  Here ... I'll help you ...

Your statement above makes it sound like Dave Hawkins goes to shopping malls and drools over young girls.  I don't.  (But I AM honest unlike most men here and I will admit that if a female - regardless of age - is "displaying her wares" I'm going to notice and like it.  There is not a red blooded man on the face of the earth that won't, trust me.  Not going to stand there and drool - I'll move on along - but I will notice and like it.  Who wouldn't?  Why do you think "Playboy: entertainment for men" did so well?)  If you didn't like my woo hoo comment, then object in an honest way, not a dishonest, half-truth, manipulative sort of way.  I have no problem with people objecting.  It's one reason I post here - I want to find out if there are any objections to my practices which hold water.  So if you want to object, object honestly ... that is, first of all, acknowledge the true topic of the convo - longevity and healthiness of indigenous peoples - object to THAT if you have a fair objection, then note in passing something like "By the way, Dave, that woo hoo comment makes it sound as if you are promoting child marriage ... I'm sure you're not, but it came across that way to me."

THAT would be an honest comment coming from you and it would cause me to respect your integrity more.  Then I would have come back and said "Oh sorry.  No I'm not in favor of child marriage, I was really woo hooing the whole situation ... woo hoo that the old guy seems fit and healthy even at 70 ... woo hoo that he won a pretty young bride (presumably she picked him over others) ... woo hoo bc the white teacher seemed to be woo hooing as well."

But no.  You people opt for spin and hyperbole and manipulative behavior and I lose respect for you.

I'm telling you ... LYING ... in all it's forms is killing our civilization.

Dave, yesterday I woo-hoo'd a 12 year old girl who looked like she was displaying her wares.  Her father punched me in the face.

What did I do wrong?
Evangelicals Love Him!!!!
Donald Trump faced new accusations on Saturday regarding the alleged payment of hush money to a pornographic film star.
Donald Trump paid porn star $130,000 to stay silent over alleged affair - report

A second actor in pornographic films told the Daily Beast she had been invited to join Trump when he was with Stephanie Clifford, who performs under the name Stormy Daniels. The same site reported that a third actor, who accused Trump of sexual misconduct before the 2016 election, is now subject to a non-disclosure agreement.
On Friday, the Wall Street Journal reported that on the eve of the 2016 election, Trump lawyer Michael Cohen paid $130,000 to Clifford.
The money was reportedly paid to keep Clifford from talking about a sexual encounter she allegedly had with Trump in 2006, shortly after the billionaire's third wife, Melania, gave birth to their son Barron.
The last sentence is the worst.

But got to be worth a "Woo-Hoo" eh Dave?  A porn star!
Here's my latest addition to the farm... these are from a line of hair sheep developed over the past 20 years by Joe Hopping ... approximately 1/2 Katahdin, 1/4 Dorper, and 1/4 Florida native. The goal with these is meat production. A good ewe will produce twins her second pregnancy and beyond ... approximately 70 pounds of packaged meat potential per year per ewe. So if all goes well, 280 pounds of meat per year from these four. I probably should have done this 2 years ago, but I really wanted to see if I could develop a mobile colony rabbit system which required no commercial feed. I got close on that goal but my dog proved to be my undoing. Maybe another year I will try again.

Where's your meat packaging setup?
Or are you paying someone else to do all that?  If so, how much raw warm goat's milk is he/she charging?
With a side of 'scared of Herpes from a prostitute' mash.
Hey Dave,

Up for a challenge? No money stake (because that's cruel apparently).

It does require some honesty on your part, though, so you might not be able to follow through, but how about we give it a try anyway?

State a name or names and a general timeframe. Those whose heads you think are going to be rolling. If things seem to be headed in the general direction, that's good enough.

If you are wrong, you have to honestly re-examine your worldview and honestly reconsider your general outlook. Consider that the mainstream (and not the RWNJ) position may not automatically be "almost always wrong".

Are you game? Do you think you have it in yourself to honestly reevaluate your worldview and consider the possibility that the alt-right bullshit you've been swallowing and vomiting up in this forum might indeed be actual bullshit? And stop reading Conservative Playpen and other bullshit alt-right / RWNJ sites? And switch off the Faux News?

When dead piglets fly.
Agriculture is the only source of labor abuse in the world today, it is true.

And zero hour contracts.
EXTREME VIOLENCE for chattel slavers is cool and good

But only, after beating them, they don't die after 2 days. Thems God's rules.

Dave, do you think it's OK if I beat my slave just a little bit (so he won't die, or if it's after 2 days I don't give a shit and neither does God)?
Pro-tip:  You will not learn anything along these lines by talking to Valor or Testy (and now a couple other TR members) who advocate VIOLENCE as a solution to these sorts of things.

You mean like the guy you voted in for president who wanted to punch protestors in the face and told others to do the same?
Many of you will try to spin me as some kind of Nazi and proponent of slavery because frankly many of you are dishonest.

But to spin me this way is ridiculous ... actually it's more than ridiculous ... it's evil ... does anyone really believe that a man who spends something 20 hours per week caring for his elderly parents - fixing them meals each day, buying groceries for them, managing their medicine and doctor appointments, entertaining them by taking them to church and other fun places every week, putting out clean underwear for my dad each day, cleaning up their poop off the floor when they have accidents, personally bathing them and on and on ... a man who milks dairy goats every day himself - doesn't hire it out ... a man who built his own house with his own hands and his own money and is planning to build a second one with his own hands and his own money ...

Is a slavery promoter?  Are you kidding me?

If you say that, then you are not stupid ... you're evil ... and you're part of the problem with this trouble filled world.

I detest slavery and I dare say that every one of YOU ... are more promoters of slavery than I ever was ... for example, do you eat processed meat?  Have you ever visited a meat factory?  Would you like to be an employee there?  To me, a job like that is slavery.  How about produce grown in California?  Do you know how that is harvested?  Have you ever seen a documentary?  You wanna tell me that's not slavery?  Yet you promote it by eating that stuff.

So don't even try to spin me as a slaver.  You're an evil, lying hypocrite if you do.

You better have a word with your God then Dave as he seems to like slavery (remember all his rules for how to keep them?).  Why wasn't 'Don't keep other people as property' one of the 10 commandments?
So Dave, was slavery ever OK, like maybe in biblical times?

Your god certainly seemed to think so, what with all his rules for keeping slaves and all.
Interestingly, Dave's pro-slavery arguments echo those from back in the day, which actually hold some merit, if one places quality of life over freedom as a chief priority.

The arguments went something like this:

A slave owner has invested significant financial resources into his capital investment (slaves) and so has a vested interest in keeping that capital resource operating at peak efficiency. He does not wanting it dying from malnutrition, running away, or getting sick and consuming resources without being productive. Whips and runaway squads are only partially effective, and the better long-term solution is to actually feed, clothe, and house your slaves adequately, treat them somewhat decently so they remain productive and provide the optimal return on the investment.

Factory owners in the north, however, had no such limitations. All they needed to do was pay their workers just enough to keep them coming back week after week. If there's a large enough pool of poor unemployed, there is no requirement to provide adequate living wage, housing, food or medical treatment. If someone is too sick to work one day, too bad, there's plenty more to fill that spot.

Theoretically, therefore, the slaves in the south were indeed better off in general than a typical factory worker in the north.

Except, of course, that is not what happened, if you go back to vivisectus' original historic perspective. By the time cotton began climbing as the economic engine of the South, indeed, of the entire USA, the practice was to work slaves as hard and as long as possible, for as little input costs as possible, to the point that few cotton plantation slaves lived past fifty, having been worked to death, and slaves sold from other areas to the cotton fields sometimes committed suicide rather than be forced into that hell on earth.

Well, To put that into perspective:  "In 2015, life expectancy for Nigeria was 53 years. Life expectancy of Nigeria increased from 39.4 years in 1966 to 53 years in 2015 growing at an average annual rate of 0.61 %"

Why did I choose Nigeria for the comparison? Calabar, a seaport in Southern Nigeria, was a major port in the transportation of African slaves. By the 18th century, most slave ships that transported slaves from Calabar were English, with around 85% of these ships being owned by Bristol and Liverpool merchants.

I was unable to find the life expectancy in Nigeria in 1860, but it is reasonable to think it was even lower than the 39.4 years in 1966.
Seen in that light, living to fifty as a slave in the Old South is not, in and of itself such a damning statistic for slavery. However, as was pointed out earlier in this thread, quality of life and expected life span is not the principle considerations in condemning and abolishing slavery.
The fact that some humans were considered to be an inferior separate race and could be bought and sold as property, denied basic human rights and stripped of their dignity was the reason why slavery had to be abolished at any cost.

Reading this thread, I still do not understand what point Dave is trying to make, if any, but he is definitely walking on eggshells with this topic.

I'm from Liverpool and and proud of my city for so many reasons, but you won't find anyone in Liverpool who would deny the shameful part Liverpool played in the slave trade.

In this day and age here's how scousers (Liverpudlians for the non-Brits) deal with fascists and people who Dave seems to be quite fond of.  The poor Nazis had to hide behind shutters.

I know exactly where you live Dave.  In fact I was there last week.  I hid myself in the hovel behind a hay bail and waited.  However, after an hour or two it got too cold and drafty and there was an awful sickly permeating smell,  almost like a combination of faeces, milk gone off and semen.
I had to get out of there.
Guys ...

1) Take some lithium ... or something
2) Marshall all 10 of your neurons together for just 5 minutes and focus
3) Repeat the following over and over until you get it ... "Dave thinks slavery is bad ... Dave thinks slavery is bad ... "
4) Got it?

Now ... answer the following question for me ...

Do you think that Abraham Lincoln loved black people?  Do you think the wealthy politicians of the north loved black people?

Or do you think their goal was more about "Industrialization of the South"?

Does God like slavery Dave?  He seems to given that he gave all sorts of direction for how to own them.  No mention that diddling little kids is wrong, just some guidance in support of slavery.
I'm not opposed to permanent settlements.  I guess there's two things I'm thinking of ... one is that in my job I see so many houses that were intended to be permanent, but now they are falling down.  Would it have been better to build what Joel Salatin calls a "compostable house" instead?  Knowing that it's going to compost eventually anyway?  Why not plan for that day?  Another thing is cost.  Most of our houses are soooo dang expensive.  And land is too.  How are young people supposed to get a start?  Well ... my idea is to create housing options that are low cost but don't look cheap like mobile homes.    So it's not so much that I definitely plan on dismantling my house in 5 years and moving it.  I may not.  But if I can have that option just by thinking a little creatively, then why not?

Maybe rich elderly benefactors could marry these young people (maybe down to 12 years old) to get them a start?  Put them up in straw bale hovels.

Even better if they all use the Hawkins Tarptown Hovels.  You would then get to ogle the young girls whilst saying "Woo-hoo!", like some alternate Sid James in a terrible Carry On movie.

'Carry on being a Cunt' would be a good title.
