Quote
Good god, how is this even a question? Roy Moore is a howling extremist, if that word has any meaning at all anymore. Why would the Democratic Party worry about whether or not Republicans in Alabama are going to "keep their distance" from their party's lunatic candidate? (Pro Tip: They almost never do.) Get in there with both feet immediately and don't get out until the job's done.

Well, there were segregationists in the Democratic party when they rammed the civil rights act through.  That worked.

DNC having hard time raising money while individual candidates are not having the same trouble.

did anyone call him a hero?  I think people are just happy that he told off trump and that he is contributing to the collapse of gop morale by resigning.  and those are both good things.

it's not a subtle distinction.  there's a big difference between thinking he's a good guy, and being happy that he trashed trump and is resigning.

where does welcoming him to #TheResistance fall on this scale?

anyway can't wait for the people who've been voting for mccain and arpaio for 30 years to vote on flake's replacement!!
