Das fludde only lasted one year.
Dates are inaccurate way back then.   Since carbon dating doesn't work, and all.  Say 2500 +/- 5 years?
2

The Potsdam is younger than the Tapeats, 500mya vs. 545mya.

So that's a big fat zero evidence for your claim.
Well, with Dave's conversion that is actually 2500 BC and 2505 BC...
3
The fact that, in 2018, there are still people who believe the whole universe is 6000 years old is mindblowing.

Dave, the reason no one anywhere has ever bought this bullshit from you is because it's clearly bullshit. Welcome to science,  cricket.
But there is sandstone all over the place!   (never mind how fine grained sand was laid down in very thin layers over large areas in a catastrophic global flood)

In fact ... I'll fill you in on my approach ...

Step 1 ... Use Bill Hoesch's article on Geologic Provincialism as a research outline ...

Step 2 ... Research the various sandstones named in his article and see if they correlate stratigraphically with one another ...

Step 3 ... use TR members for undergrad research and award honorary PhD's from AF Dave University if they do good work!

Lol.

...
As you can see, there are many human and pre-human fossils that date well older than 10,000 years.
... by multiple technologies, all of which must somehow be wrong in such a way that they all expand a few thousand years into hundreds of thousands, or more!

I don't even get blame-shifting over Trump acting in accordance with his general campaign rhetoric. This is what people--not Heinz--voted for.
Sounds like that Obama fellow was pretty tough on illegal immigration!
8
This was sorted through already in the immigration thread. Kids who crossed the border solo, were locked up. Kids were not separated from their families.
To be fair to Heinz: the meme quoted doesn't make that difference, and blames Trump for underage lockups period. As such, pointing out the existence of underage lockups under Obama (whose policies Clinton likely would have generally followed) is a fair point to make.

To be unfair, the numbers don't match up, if I recall ccorrectly.
Some would argue a there is a difference between poorly dealing with an influx of unaccompanied minors and establishing a policy of separating children from their parents to deter asylum seekers.

But Trump is just enforcing a Democrat policy!  :heinz

No. He is just enforcing the law. Where were you when Obama was doing the same thing?
lol

Us: How do you know there was a global flood?

Dave: because there is a continent wide layer of sandstone.

Us: how do you know it continent wide?

Dave: because it was deposited by a global flood.

"Lol at Dave, who has never been to a beach nor the mouth of a river nor really anywhere that sediments are being built up year by year or day by day or season by season or flood by flood and so on"

Yeah ... waiting on you to show me a beach or a river delta that if you squint and hold your nose at midnight with a new moon, you could maybe somehow extrapolate those processes over millions of years to form a continent-sized, super flat, super thin sandstone like the one in N. America which contains the Tapeats Sandstone.

L. O. EFFING.  L.

Maybe you should visit more beaches. Or go look at the aerial views off the coasts of your own country and others. Seriously Dave, no one can understand why you can't extrapolate those processes over many millennia. Because it is that evident, that logical, that obvious in such places. Or the processes caused by wind deposition - something you could also see at the right beach, among the dunes. Or out on mud flats, which build up year after year, tide after tide.
"Visit more beaches."  Lol.  I've visited plenty.  I had the keys to a supersonic AF jet for almost 10 years, remember?  I could fly anywhere I wanted for free.  And did quite often.  Been to all the major US beaches and plenty of other places.  Got a kick ass space shuttle tour one time.

Anyway, guess what I find at beaches?

LOOSE SAND

And there's no way anyone with a brain could possibly extrapolate the process we see operating at a beach over millions of years to imagine a continent sized, incredibly flat, super duper thin sandstone layer.

You'd have to have a frontal lobotomy to think that could happen.

Which is exactly why I say you guys have frontal lobotomies.
So you went to a beach, looked around and saw a bunch of loose sand and that was it?  That is the evidence you're presenting to us today?  You were probably too busy telling every woman you could find that you were a pilot to dig a hole below the disturbed top layers and look at how sand had been deposited over time.

Anyway, presumably these layers were laid down by a global catastrophe of some kind?

Hmmm.  Does anyone else think that this distraction thread should be merged with the 'Dave presents his OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE of global flood, no badgering!' thread?

If the mods could accommodate, it would be appreciated, TIA.
Just consolidate all his nonsense with Socrates'

Hundreds of cultures, eh?   How many hundreds?
Also:
Similar to the biblical account, eh?  How similar?
Seems like a tale that grows in the telling.   A few to several to many to dozens to hundreds.  On a couple years Dave will tell us about the *thousands* of cultures that have similar flood myths!

4000 years
Lol.

Why haven't they discovered cave paintings more than 10,000 years old!?

Nothing is more than 6000 years old!

One question that comes to mind is ...

If the second migration Out of Africa happened around a hundred thousand years ago, why don't we find cave paintings in Algeria dated that old?

Why are we finding stuff dated 10000 years old or less?

Hmm?

Could it be ... God forbid ... that there aren't any?

There are cave paintings in Europe that are dated to be way older than 10,000 years old.

Ok thanks.
You forgot this part:

But you hand wave those away because any radiometric dates older than 6000 years are impossible in your fantasy world.

How old would you estimate these Spanish cave paintings to be?

"Awww look what you made me do, I just had to kick yet another puppy. When are you going to change your cruel laws and policies? Do I have to start shooting them? Cause I will you know"

19
no, thats trumps policy, he thinks it will deter immigration, and literally hold children hostage for his boarder wall
Well, that's not what Fox told me!

And you think that's no weirder than Dalrymple saying the Earth is billions of years old? Or that life created itself?
Do you think that the existence of an African tribe lacking heads is more probable than you being wrong about the age of the earth?

23
It's one thing to believe ruddiman who is basically echoing a bunch of classical authors like Pliny and Strabo who actually lived during the times that we are talking about not to mention strengthening his opinion with actual archaeological finds.

It's quite another thing to believe Dalrymple who has no classical authors or archaeological finds from 4 billion years ago.

I'm a thinkin' people didn't read this carefully.
Dalrymple does have the fundamental physical laws of the Universe.

Neither Pliny nor Strabo had the resources and knowledge we have today. It's worth reading them but they aren't the last word.
Pliny also wrote about all sorts of random stuff, like unicorns, and tribes in Africa that had no heads.

IIRC, "head rolling" means "going to jail".

So there's Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort.
Yeah.

BEFORE his trial.

What is this? The Soviet Union?
Is this the first time you've heard of pretrial detention?
<googling intensifies>

Holy shit.  Get a clue, David.    He violated the conditions of his bail by engaging in illegal activity (witness tampering).
