Hope it's better than the first 2

The first was okay, in that campy way.  2 was really a letdown.  This is always the problem with "invulnerable" superheroes.  The movies just end up being them smashing everything to pieces in huge, boring CGI set-pieces.  It's why all of the modern Superman movies are fucking terrible.  Well, also because Superman fucking sucks.

I think its why Loki's a good nemesis for Thor. He's just as invulnerable iirc, and while he might not beat him in a straight fight, it comes down to intelligence and planning, and what did he miss, etc. And with superman Luthor works for similar reasons- if you're desperate for a cgi slugfest he can sicc Doomsday on him as a distraction, but it really ought to be to tie him up long enough so that the actual plan can happen. Rather than whatever godawful bollocks was going on in BvS.
