Where I live, it's a cultural fucking identity based on the perverse veneration of simpsonesque tire-fire-flavoring.
Just because you're unique doesn't mean you're useful.

I really don't get the love people have for burnt coffee milkshakes.

I also really get angry when I go to Starbucks because if I go to one I want a goddamn cup of coffee. I don't want to stand in line behind a bunch of assholes ordering their gingerbread skim milk blah blah blah-cino drinks that take forever to make when all they gotta do is pull the damn spigot to get my drink.

In conclusion Applebee's sucks and so do all the chains mentioned itt but sometimes I go to Buffalo Wild Wings because my alumni association meets there to watch football and it's fun to walk in there and see 50+ people wearing my home colors.

Today's poor innocent victim:

Millennials are killing chains like Buffalo Wild Wings and Applebee's

Is nothing sacred anymore?

Where will I go to buy a $20 plate of microwaved food if Applebee's goes away? :sadcheer:
Have you ever actually eaten at an Applebee's? I think Portland might have one at one of the malls but I'm not sure. I thought they were a Midwest truck stop phenomenon. I don't remember seeing one anywhere on the east coast but then I wasn't looking either.
Several in the Boston area and in New Jersey.

It's almost like if you fuck over employees by purposely stagnating wages, turn every job you can into a 39 hour-a-week part-time job with zero benefits, and do everything possible to kneecap and degrade safety nets people don't have the cash to spend on overpriced garbage anyway, let alone housing.

But the real problem is avocado toast.   ::)

We need to figure out how to inflict millenials on the current administration. (Voting would help....)

Just in case anyone else has trouble keeping track, I thought I'd post this handy breakdown of who's in what generation:

  • Gen Z, iGen, or Centennials: Born 1996 and later
  • Millennials or Gen Y: Born 1977 to 1995
  • Generation X: Born 1965 to 1976
  • Baby Boomers: Born 1946 to 1964
  • Traditionalists or Silent Generation: Born 1945 and before

You're welcome!

Why does Darwin have a little weiner in front of his mouth?

Not that I'm judging or anything.

That's 'wiener'*, not 'weiner'.
Kids these days don't know how to spell!  :getoffmylawnoldman:

Quote
1900, shortening of wienerwurst (1874, American English), from German Wiener "of Vienna" (from Wien "Vienna," from Latin Vindo-bona; see Vienna) + Wurst "sausage" (see wurst). Colloquial wienie is attested by 1911. Extensive pejorative senses developed from its penis-like shape. Wiener roast is from 1910.

It's a finger!

Although there are some comparison studies of finger length ratio as an indicator of penis size:

Kids these days don't really want to socialize in person anymore plus food TV and foodie culture have given rise to the fast casual chains like Chipotle and 800 Degrees.

They're still eating out, just not at cheesy shitty reheated frozen food places like Applebees and Olive Garden.

And forget about having to wait for a Waiter to come by. Takes too long.

I think we can all concur that Gen X is still the best Gen.
