Here's my small appreciation and thanks for all the work, time, effort and all that has been done.

Thanks Ravenscape and all others.

TR is a national treasure.

Not a huge deal, but it might be an easy fix.  The smileys all appear as broken images

That's a feature, not a bug.

Sitewide smilies are fixed.  There are some mysmilies that didn't make it through the apocalypse, though. :/

I've set up the TR tapatalk info so that it points to the archive forum.

It looks like PM still works for the zombie forum.
Comments on posts also still working.

If any one cares the zombie forum got moved under the "archive" folder so links to forum posts don't work unless you type in "archive" into the link.

So when you're on the zombie forum the link in this post won't work:

It was 2009.  I finally found it.

Because the link goes to:
 http://talkrational.org/showthread.php?p=2651874#post2651874

In order to work it needs to go to:

PMs were intentionally left on so that people could use the reply-as-PM feature to quote a post on the old forum and copypasta it to this forum.

It's also used by the donation system.

At some point it will probably make sense to turn off PMs over there, and turn off the rep system.  But doing so will remove members' access to their old PMs and rep comments on their profiles.

The point could be hastened or delayed depending on overuse/abuse.

The reply as PM feature is really useful.

That the attachments are all  broken links is still annoying.  But hey, it's a goddamn zombie, what do you expect?

You can manually fix the link for an attachment you're interested in by adding archive/ after talkrational.org/

I think.  I'd have to find an archive link to check it out.

I'm not willing to make a mass change on the post table because that's the table that broke and blew up TR in the first place.

I know, but it's even easier to use the attachment menu.  They all show up with no need to do anything.
