Long threads
I was wondering what would happen when threads got long - and it looks like new replies don't show up on "New Posts" or "New Replies"

Is this fixable?

I'm checking to see if it's reproducible.

I would imagine it is fixable though!

The one with over 4500 posts in ASS?  Or is there a longer one somewhere?

I took that thread off ignore this morning, and I'm seeing it in New Posts every time there's a new post.

Are you still experiencing this?  I haven't been able to reproduce it.

I'm not seeing it in New Posts, even when there are New Posts.  I thought Dave had given up.

Or the Hawkins entourage had given up.

I wonder if it only happens if it's tagged as a thread you've posted in?

I think it has to be a cookie problem :/

Have you tried clearing your cookies?

I think she put the thread on ignore/whatever that's called where it doesn't show up in new posts.

if you give it away you'll have so many
they'll be rolling all over the floor

Oh...maybe. Pingu, do one the buttons at the top of the thread say "Unwatch" or "Watch"?  If the former, then you should see the thread in the searches.  If the latter, then you're currently not "watching" the thread and it won't show up in searches.

The default for all threads is "Watch", unless you toggle that button.
