The official MMA thread
Lesnar is returning to the UFC.  He'll fight Hunt at UFC 200.

I wonder how he'll do with the new stricter drug testing policy.

Yeah that was such a cheap move. He should be ashamed.

UFC 200 main event changed.  Jon Jones positive drug test so he's been pulled from the card.  Now Lesnar vs. Hunt is the main event. Cormier probably off the card, maybe they can get a last minute replacement.

Main event changed again to Tate Nunes as it should be (female welterweight championship without Cyborg, Holm or Rousey).  First time I'm paying for the PPV in a while.

Cormier is now fighting Anderson Silva in a non-title fight at LHW. Cormier will have something like a 20 lb. weight advantage.  Props to Silva for stepping up at the last minute.

And in news that shocks absolutely nobody, Brock Lesnar failed the post-fight drug screening.

Brutal injury at Bellator the other night.  Fractured skull.  Not for the squeamish.

The Unified rules will be updated as of January 1.

In short, touching one hand to the ground no longer qualifies as "grounded" so kicks & knees to the head will be allowed in that position.

Changes to judging criteria should encourage more 10-8 rounds.

So Cyborg is the title fight, and she still doesn't get a division in her weight class, Jesus Fuck UFC.

Well I won't complain about a nice free show I'm a big fan of Big Country and Cyborg so I'll happily watch this one.

Holy fuck, Bigfoot vs. Big Country wasn't even the co-main on a free fight.

Awesome free card, thanks UFC.

Yes, I'm biased toward heavyweights.

Not "title"as it was a catchweight since they won't giver her a 145 division, but the headliner/main event of the night.

Just create a 145 division UFC, she's the best woman fighter in the world, even if she's not as pretty as Rhonda (who hasn't fought since getting her ass kicked a year ago or Holly (who has looked like shit other than kicking Rhonda's ass)

Ahh, that was just the Reebok sponsorship portion of the payout.  Hopefully she got a lot more than that in total.

Oleksiy Oliynyk is a beast.  He just pulled off an Ezekial choke from the bottom position.  Dude is 51-10 mostly in orgs we've never heard of.

Also they finally created the Cyborg division (145 lbs.) but she's not fighting for the initial title.  It's Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie next month for the belt.
