Yeah it gets hidden in a droppy off your name. Which kinda defeats the purpose IMO. Something else to customise.

Aha. The custom title field a bit further down the settings page does it. Shows underneath your member group.

It doesn't show in the miniprofile attached to posts, which I assume is what Reign wants.

Yebbut custom title does. Or at least it does with Storm Cloud. Haven't checked the others and don't have time right now. BBL.

click the button with your account name on the top left corner.  Profile>Forum Profile>Modify Profile.

I've got a field for "Personal Text" which I have filled with "beepin' boopin' beep-booper".  But it doesn't show up as a title under my avatar.  That's all I've got, I don't have a field for "Custom Title"

I have a rusty robot avatar   Close enough though.  I see you've added a title... but that doesn't show up anywhere under my profile settings that I can see.  It's possible I'm just being amazingly blind today.  I'll try again tomorrow!

nah, it makes sense that only staff get titles by default. It's not the TR way, of course, but I get it for other forums.

it's true, the president is not as powerful as people think.  I have all those checks and balances from congress and the judiciary.  there are independent agencies which are within the executive branch, but nonetheless are not under my authority.  hell, I can't even tell the AG what to do.  then there's all the red tape holding back my political appointees at the tops of all the departments, with the purpose of preventing political interference, but with the side effect of creating an awful lot of slack between management and workers.  then there is even more red tape holding back all management, appointed and career, dealing with financial and other conflicts of interest (which are particularly acute when you're the motherfucking federal government), but which have the side effect of further weakening management.  one of my predecessors said that his biggest surprise about being president is seeing just how much passive aggressive behavior there is in government.  as he put it, "I give an order, and just nothin' happens."

but one power I do have is to order drone strikes.  so watch your tone, or your lifelong rule might turn out shorter than you think.
