Guessing Don Jr had his online source send cocaine addressed to his wife "just in case"

Why do this when you can order a "filet-o-fish"?

yo potter, looks like a McDonalds bot hacked your account

Resurrecting a failed idea and selling it by comparing it to a new idea which is also failing.

Every good capitalist knows that governments make better economic decisions for people than they do for themselves. But, I guess Trump never pretended to be in the capitalist wing of his party, which is fucking weird if you think about it. I mean, he's Donald Trump.

Of course, the point here isn't to improve anyone's well-being, but to cut SNAP, and run distraction by saying, "but we'll send people random ass canned goods. Soup is good food."

Of course, the point here isn't to improve anyone's well-being, but to allow private companies/grifters to make a lot of money from "public-private" partnerships that deliver garbage food at high prices

Oh man, Rick Snyder recently had to undo his stupid plan to have private companies provide food in prisons, because it was just that much of a massive garbage fire. Maggots in the food, high costs, employees of the beneficiary companies having sex with inmates. The whole nine yards.

And the company wanted more money.

anyways, you guys see the plans to privatize NPR, PBS, and the ISS?
The idea to privatize lSS seems to be a step beyond standard Republicanism. What are the chances McConnell, Ryan, and the like will support that?

I don't take anything in the Trump budget proposal seriously, except as a giant middle finger to those not on the Trump train.
And as an exercise in moving the Overton Window still further right.

guessing they balk at the ISS thing.  or just ignore it.

would be less surprised if they followed through on privatizing public television

By privatizing, is that code for de-funding? Because PBS and NPR are not government organizations. They do rely on government funding, Federal, State and local, but also raise a considerable amount of their budgets privately.

The ISS, International Space Station is also not owned by the US Government. It's owned by a number of governments. Hence the "International" part. Of course, the US could discontinue funding and support for the ISS. I doubt the Russians would care much. Nor the Chinese. Nor the Europeans. Nor Elon Musk. The US would disappear from space.

Yeah, let's make America great again. By becoming a recluse that can't export much besides food (and with the trade wars going full on) probably just letting that exported food go to waste.
Are we there yet?

I don't know why this Porter story is sticking around while so many others get overrun by the latest daily insanity, but the FBI director is directly contradicting the WH's ever-changing story.

Meanwhile...

https://nypost.com/2018/02/13/trumps-lawyer-admits-paying-130k-to-stormy-daniels/

So Trump's personal lawyer says he paid the porn star $130,000 for some nefarious reason, and that neither Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign were involved in the transaction. Lol.

Remember when that kind of story was first page news, and not some minor footnote?
Who even made the rule that we cannot group ducks and fish together for the simple reason that they are both aquatic? If I want to group them that way and it serves my purpose then I can jolly well do it however I want to and it is still a nested hierarchy and you can't tell me that it's not.

Numerous legal sources are indicating Michael Cohen just put his law license in jeopardy, by violating  Rule of Professional Conduct 1.8(e) which states "A lawyer shall not provide financial assistance to a client in connection with pending or contemplated litigation"

Trump's only going to be around for a few more years so why do so many people put their future livelihoods at jeopardy. Especially since Trump has proven over and over again that he'll turn on anyone for anything at any time.
