good grief.  I mean, I've seen mistakes like that in routine patent filings, but it is rare.  and you'd think they'd be extra careful with something this important.

what a fucking idiot

eta and this guy was going to fix supposed voting fraud issues across the whole country

Re: Fighting the gerrymander
Reply #141
"fix" voting "fraud", you mean

it was clear from the start that it was entirely about "fixing" non-white people's ability to "legally vote"

right right, I'm just saying even for people who accept the premise of the whole thing, this bumbling imbecile was the best person trump could find for a job that would obviously involve a lot of rigor and attention to detail

I have to say, as an avowed anti-twitterist, your posts are meaningless.

Twittter, as far as I'm concerned, is FaceBook on serious supercrank. In other words, useless. Just emotional overload.

Your almost entirely reliance upon twitter links is useless to anyone who refuses to do twitter. For obvious reasons.

If you're going to quote or cite something, include a little bit about it. Possible a lot of bit about it. Not just a link to something I consider insidious. Remember, this is the primary communication channel of Our Dear Leader, and that should give you some idea of it's value.

The tweets usually embed, allowing us to see them without clicking them. You may have some setting disabling that.

First tweet:

Breaking news: The ACLU is suing Ohio to strike down the state's congressional map, saying it is so severely gerrymandered to benefit Republicans that it violates the U.S. Constitution ( https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ohio-congressional-map-gerrymandering_us_5b056ee5e4b07c4ea103d092 )

Secoond tweet:

Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who signed this plan into law, has been one of the Republican officials very outspoken about stopping partisan gerrymandering. He joined a brief in October asking SCOTUS to do something.

ACLU points to this over and over in their filing

do you notice how there's a giant article link and even auto-embedded headline right in the first tweet you insufferable dumb ass?

e: if the tweets aren't auto-embedding and displaying then yeah my posts are pretty useless but I really only use twitter to follow legit journalists who often tweet snippets and links of their own stories, such as in this case!

Huh. Didn't know huffpo had entirely separate sites for mobile and computer. Mobile goes to m.huffpost.com, computer to huffingtonpost.com. Remove the m from huffpost.com and it says the internet disconnected, which is bizarre.
