Makes people who associate with the right that much less human to me. Trump and the Trump effect are poison.

buddy.

Weird how easy it is to dehumanize humans.

You clearly missed my point. Note the time stamps. I wrote those within a couple minutes of each other. My point is not ironic in that second one.

Am I dumb to still be so amazed by how much people rely on being completely ignorant/unaware and absolutely naive about race? Like the extent to which people will live in blissful ignorance and total denial to avoid even thinking about the remotest possibility that someone they know might be, y'know, a little racist, maybe, is fucking stunning.
Quote

Samantha Bloom said her son had told her last week he was heading to an "alt right" rally in Virginia, the Blade reported.

"I try to stay out of his political views. I don't get too involved," she told the newspaper.

"I told him to be careful," she said, "if they are going to rally, to make sure he is doing it peacefully." She then broke down in tears.

She later told the Associated Press that she believed the rally was to support President Trump, not white supremacy.

"I thought it had something to do with Trump. Trump's not a white supremacist," Bloom told the AP.

"He had an African-American friend so ...," she said, trailing off.

Ah, there's the magical friends-with-a-minority spell that you cast to make yourself completely immune to any charges of racism for all eternity.
If one has two minority friends, it makes them twice as not-racist.

the red rose is a traditional symbol of socialism referring to the phrase "bread and roses," indicating that we need to secure for working people both their needs and their dignity. because a lot of socialists on twitter put that in their names, woke liberal twitter uses wilted roses to, i guess, indicate that they are ignorant and/or hate the idea of workers having dignity??

the donut thing is somehow even more hilarious and pathetic. basically nina turner and some "our revolution" people wanted to deliver a petition at the 2017 DNC but were barred from entering by security. who for some reason gave them donuts?? this pissed nina turner off and she had some things to day about this insulting empty gesture. so woke liberal twitter decided that a black woman's frustrations at being denied a voice in the democratic party that still expects her vote is something worth making fun of.

What's weird about the dehumanizing thing is that it doesn't seem to affect the chill factor in the moment at all but it does because that little thought of "I don't care if you die" has already been implanted. So later on, when searching around for a perspective in some situation, that is the one I might grab just because it's there. I already had one like it for cops which I definitely don't like having. Now there are more. That train stabbing up here in PDX was a lot more of a turning point than I had realized. Sorry about the serious answer. It's just that I have been thinking about it. This really is how wars start. And how karma spreads.

Actually, no, he's a Soviet. Just like his BFF, Vladimir.

Not much difference, except Vladimir is in charge of a country that has been under someone's thumb for decades and if you include the Tzars, centuries.

This seems fake. Has anyone dug up the Michelle Obama speech this supposedly comes from?

Yeah.

But this one was correct: http://www.rawstory.com/2017/08/im-not-the-angry-racist-they-see-alt-righter-became-viral-face-of-hate-in-virginia-and-now-regrets-it/

Like I said on PD's facebook: "I'm not an angry racist. I just want to *calmly* create a whites-only nation. Jeez, guys, come on!"
