Computers and Technology / Re: Plex Media Server
I have used Plex for about 4-5 years now.  When I started using it, it was pretty shitty.  Now, it is mostly not shitty.  I don''t know anything that does what it does, but it does not work particularly well.  If you are watching a movie on your intranet, it will probably work fine.  If you want to watch something over the internet, you are probably going to have problems.  Any use that requires transcoding will probably not play smoothly.  You will need a pretty good pc for transcoding.  Remote playback will require steady internet with a decent upload speed (> 5 mbps).  Some plex apps have issues playing certain types of encodes.  The Samsung TV app is pretty finicky.  The Roku app seems to be the most robust.
Ok.  Don't you need to go curl up in a corner or something?
at this point I think the goal needs to be convincing as many electors as possible that their constitutional responsibility is to oppose trump at any and all costs
You keep repeating this.  It won't happen.  It has never happened in history. It's not clear it would be a good thing if it did.  I'm pretty sure Clinton doesn't want it and might not even accept it.  Trump's approval rating is actually up since the election (although still the lowest ever).  If Clinton somehow won the electoral college, it could tear the country apart and the legitimacy of the government would be widely repudiated.

Almost stopped reading when he used 'epitaph' instead of 'epithet' but I skimmed half of the rest. It was enough to convince me that this is your typical superiority complex like the one we see in the Atheist community. No real evidence for his assertions, just "I tried talking to them and they wouldn't listen!" (yeah I wonder why), and "they're ALL at the LEAST COMMON DENOMINATOR".

There might have been a point in there I missed, but it looked like a bunch of nothing.
At the end, he listed some "truths" they will never accept.  No. 1 was : "Their economic situation is largely the result of voting for supply-side economic policies that have been the largest redistribution of wealth from the bottom/middle to the top in U.S. history."

::) Jesus Christ.
