Who even made the rule that we cannot group ducks and fish together for the simple reason that they are both aquatic? If I want to group them that way and it serves my purpose then I can jolly well do it however I want to and it is still a nested hierarchy and you can't tell me that it's not.

Give dave enough rope and he will manage to blow himself to bits.

I think we found Faid's hot button ...
What, child abuse? Yeah, I guess you did.

Internet creeps is another one.
Faid might be like that deacon at a church I used to attend ... self righteous, outspoken about abuses in society, upstanding citizen, professional ... so everyone thought ... oops but now he's in the state pen for fondling little boys.

"Demon possession"

"Evolution = pedophilia"

Lol

What next?

I understand your confusion. You had no idea, thinking your mad thoughts were your own. Fret not. There's a test you can do yourself to verify your possession.

Examine yourself naked in front of a mirror in a well lit room. Bring a tack or a pin. What you are looking for are witch's marks, blemishes or moles or scars that you don't remember having. Take the pin and lightly prick them. If you find one that feels no pain, that is the entry point for a demon.

I used to fantasize about teenage girls, but realizing  being 6" to a foot shorter than them and the fact they did not consider preteen boys anything other than something to beat up or laugh at, I was delighted when I started accompanying my dad to the plays he helped produced at the local college (they often needed a young boy for some part or another) and discovered college girls were way more fantasizable, wouldn't beat me up and even thought I was cute. Still unattainium, but a much, much better grade of unattainium.

Now I fantasize about one particular young lady, seven years younger, but I get to live out these fantasies most every night. Well, at least the ones I don't fall asleep by 8pm.

Especially if it's primacord.

Hey, I just realized he could do both.

I'm genuinely afraid this might be projection.

Notice the assymmetry here? If it's Dave, it's projection. If it's a "team Darwin" member, then it's not.

Not only can you not spell the word, you don't seem to know what it means.

Nothing. Other than the normal hang ups that we all have.  The question is, what's wrong with YOU? And with self righteous people like Faid?  Who go on and on for pages and pages with outrage over a comment I made which was perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the article written by that English teacher.

Quote
Both parties seem genuinely delighted at the prospect of the impending nuptials, and I do mean that sincerely. And who am I to question a way of life that has endured this long?

So yeah "woo hoo" ... i'll say it again ... no apologies.  Good for the old patriarch if he's happy and she's happy and an outside English woman witnesses it and attests to their happiness. Win win.

Furthermore you have no self control.

You shit up a perfectly good thread focused on sustainability with your calumnious nonsense and only with much prodding take it to a more appropriate place.

Really?
It's part of the "normal hang ups we all have" to post that someone might be a felonious child molester?
(Hey! How do we know that he isn't? Right?)
Based on what?
Other than the fact that he explained exactly why he finds  you creepy?

It's IKYABWAI on steroids.

Get real Dave. The only positive bit of writing you have about child brides is the wittering of a 25 yer old who doesn't speak the language and says 'all parties are delighted'. Every other report, from organisations who fight against the harm it does, from female Maasai members of Kenya's parliment who specifically campaign against it and whose daughters have been beaten and who herself has been constantly threatened and cursed over her stance, from another female politician who was kidnapped and tortured over the issue, points to the real Truth that Matters. The girls have little or no choice, are mutilated shortly after puberty, and are sold to old men as supplementary wives. No doubt some of them are obedient children who try to make the best of the fate their fathers decide for them. That doesn't make it better.

And if we really really really want to get serious about "not exploiting young people" ... let's talk about how SCIENTISTS are poisoning young minds in public schools with "fake science" about how the earth is millions of years old and your uncle is a monkey and we all evolved from pond scum and so on.  Oh and how about vaccinations?  Shooting up babies with a scary cocktail of god-knows-what and LYING to parents telling them it's good for their kids.

Yeah ... let's talk about exploiting people, shall we?
Well, dave. If you really want to talk about those things, we can set up separate threads where you can defend your contentions that
  • the scientific consensus for the age of the earth, as laid out in detail in books like Brent Dalrymple's is "fake science" and how, exactly, it exploits young people and poisons young minds
  • the abundant anatomical and molecular genetic evidence supporting the common descent of humans and other primates is "fake science" and how, exactly, that exploits young people and poisons young minds
  • how smallpox, measles, polio, rubella, mumps, diphtheria... have been eliminated or drastically reduced where vaccination is practiced, but doctors are lying - excuse me, LYING - about how vaccination is a good thing, how all the published science documenting the safety and efficacy of vaccines is "fake" and how, exactly, it's exploiting young people and poisoning young minds.
You want to start the threads, or shall I?
