President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities.

Quote
Actor Kal Penn, artist Chuck Close and the entire membership of the President's Committee On the Arts and Humanities have announced their resignation. A letter dated Friday, and signed by 16 of 17 committee members, cited the "false equivalence" of President Donald Trump's comments about last weekend's "Unite the Right" gathering in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Lol. No. We went to the same art classes. He's older than me. He was pretty much ridiculed at the time for his work although it was pretty good even then. I think the wheelchair was more of a stigma then though and I think that had a lot to do with the criticism he got at the time. It's been something like 35 or 40 years since I've seen him. He seemed like a very weird dude.

The only member whose name did not appear was Broadway director George C. Wolfe. Representatives for Wolfe at Creative Arts Agency said Friday that he was also resigning and that his name would be added to the letter, which seemed to contain a hidden political message beyond the ones stated openly. The first initials of the letter's six main paragraphs spell out "r-e-s-i-s-t."
Nice.

eta, the article says they were all appointed by Obama. Presumably Trump forgot to fire them. Or wanted to, but couldn't find any artists who'd want to sign up other than Kid Rock and Ted Nugent.
Why do I bother?

Just so YOU know, I'm no 7th dimensional chess player, but I can't possibly guess what strategy involves turning the house, the senate, and American people against yourself.  Trump is the not just the least popular president since the end of world war II, I believe he is polling behind Genital Herpes.  He has NO political capital to trade.
History will remember him as a bumbling orange buffoon.
He just announced he won't attend the Kennedy Center honors:
Quote
WASHINGTON - The White House announced on Saturday morning that President Trump and first lady Melania will not attend the Kennedy Center honors, with the move coming after several of the honorees said they would not attend the traditional White House dinner the night before the event.
This after a string of honorees announced the will not attend the traditional dinner with the president the night before.
Quote
The White House said in a statement the first couple would not attend in order to "allow the honorees to celebrate without any political distraction."
Remember when being asked to dine with the president was an honor?  Not any more.
He is an absolute laughingstock.
My own theory is that he kens fine he jist disnae wantae.

So p***y-grabbing, claiming no need for God's forgiveness, and abusiveness to others wouldn't do it, but Nazis... that may be too much.
One of the members of Trump's laughably untapped Evangelical Advisory Board has knocked the dust off his feet and decided to walk away, lest the stench of the latest controversy become too thick to wash off.
Quote
Rev. A.R. Bernard, who leads the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, said in a statement that he had "quietly stepped away" from the panel several months ago, but submitted his formal resignation on Tuesday.
Business leaders have already began to back away from Trump's economic councils, causing him to disband the council.
Think that that is Huffington post?
Nope, that's from Redstate, a staunchly Republican blog.  Nice to know the Evangelical movement has a red line,  it's just a shame it wasn't misogyny.
My own theory is that he kens fine he jist disnae wantae.

BULLSHIT.

You had said Comey's head had "rolled". Did Comey go to jail?

Keep your story straight.
Who even made the rule that we cannot group ducks and fish together for the simple reason that they are both aquatic? If I want to group them that way and it serves my purpose then I can jolly well do it however I want to and it is still a nested hierarchy and you can't tell me that it's not.

Bluffy's stories are like the streets of Bluffoonylvania, never straight nor permanent. One day, the road to your place curves to the left, reducing your holding, then next, it curves to the right, increasing your holding. Of course, this wishy washy definition of holdings leads to disagreements, and, occasionally, physical efforts to settle those disagreements. After all, most judges are the products of academia and so, tainted, and so, unreliable and so why have them. Unless, of course, they agree with your POV, in which case they should not be subject to threats or bribes. On the other hand, if they don't agree with your POV, well, justice will prevail, dependent upon your relative level of ability to bribe and/or present physical violence.

In short, Bluffy wants a return to feudalism. Where promising the King your "support", no matter what, which everyone realizes is actually conditional. It's good as long as said King supports you and can maintain his or her power base. Hey, it's a fair exchange. At least until said King wants more than you're willing to offer. Or you want more than said King is willing to offer and you feel you might be able to replace said King. Meanwhile, lots of "little people", often like Bluffy, suffer, die, lose everything, are maimed, raped, robbed and dispossessed, to become prey for the slavers.

It's a really grand world from the view of the people on top, and those that would like to get there, the view most fairy tales so attractively portray. Get rich and powerful and do as you like, have what you want. But it seriously sucks for those with no power. Which is why those at the top so fear any attempts by those they sit on to organize. and get that power. To replace that King. And them.

It's one reason Bluffy is so uncomfortable with land division. And with any sort of the possibility of the people controlling things in his dream lands. He simply can't deal with any objection to his Dream Land. Where he's a god and everyone does as he commands. It's why he doesn't want to hear about the possible problems of his Dream, which he's really not thought out. Which, ironically, he's never really considered that most people don't want to be ruled and told what to do, just like he doesn't want to be ruled and told what to do. Such a shallow being.

It's the basis of sociopathy and often leads to psychopathy.  And, eventually, mind control and concentration camps and  genocide.

Really, Bluffy, do you understand the people you appear to be supporting, people that kill other people by the millions just because they don't like them*? Is that what you advocate? That anyone you don't like should be rounded up, their possessions confiscated, imprisoned and then executed?

Think about it, Bluffy, what if you are in the demographic of those that are wanted to be gone? If for no other reason than winds change and you may be on the other side of the killers. Have you ever read any accounts of the French Revolution? Classic example.
Or the Russian Revolution?

Regardless of what it's name is, it's all extremism. It's a mind set that you're right, no matter what, simple because you say so and fuck everyone else.

Ever consider you might be the target of such extremism?
Are we there yet?

Yeah. Going to jail for the fucking "Obama wire tapp scandal", which was entirely invented by Trump, the habitual liar.

Flynn, Yates, Obama, Clapper etc. were all going to prison you said at one time or another. Heads rolling? Comey's firing you also characterized this way. FFS do you even remember your ravings of the past?

Get a clue, you've been lied to and are still trying to defend an ethically bankrupt and morally bereft president, even in the throes of endless scandal and no ability to legislate, all amidst the rats quickly abandoning ship and people of conscience turning away from him.
