It was Shapiro reacting to the talking point comparing the number of Palestinian deaths (dozens, iirc) to the number of Israeli soldier deaths (0). He was acting as if this were a target, not a measure - along the lines of "so you'd be happier if more Israelis were dead?"

Can someone explain to me why this guy is more known than any similar online fascistroll
Who even made the rule that we cannot group ducks and fish together for the simple reason that they are both aquatic? If I want to group them that way and it serves my purpose then I can jolly well do it however I want to and it is still a nested hierarchy and you can't tell me that it's not.

Me too.  I have no idea where someone would come across his work in the normal course of events but my BIL told me he was really great so I looked at a YouTube video where he babbled pretty much incoherently about abortion.

Yes but why though?

I suspect it's because he can form complex and coherent sentences and use long words, and that makes most of his audience think "oh em gee he's a fucking genius".

Same abstract reason Milo, Charlie Kirk, or any of the others are. They're being funded.

and liberal media is gullible/hates socialists more than fascists, thus needs to elevate them to look fair and balanced.

To be fair, there seems to be less of a tendency towards "celebrity" behavior and worship in leftist media, from what I can see, where it seems endemic in liberal and far-right media. This makes it easier for the media to prop someone either liberal or far-right than it does for socialists, and media is nothing if not lazy.

Of course, part of the reason this happens is because that's what the funding pays for.

He is famous for the same reason Kim Kardashian is famous.  There is a tape of him having sex with a black man.
