Evidence for the sky being made of Ymir's skull
As the sk√°lds did write

Quote
From Ymir's flesh the earth was formed,
and from his bones the hills,
the heaven from the skull of that ice-cold giant,
and from his blood the sea.

Heathens will tell you otherwise, having forsook the gods of their fathers'.
They deserve the blood eagle.

There are mountain ranges that are mostly composed of calcium, which is a major component of bones so yeah, makes sense.  :]

Nonsense. The sky is the den of Muin, the she bear. Every spring she wakes and comes down to inhabit a bear body on earth, is hunted and eventually killed, then her life spirit flies back to her den and sleeps all winter, waking up again the next spring.

Muin wouldn't sleep in an old cold skull.

Yet, suckling a cow whilst it licks someone out of the ice/salt is all kinds of kinky.  This does explain the milky foam in the ocean from Ymir's blood I guess. On the other teat, it does seem very cold there, it has strange effects on dangly anatomy.
