Resting Heart Rate Table
Normal resting heart rates can range anywhere from 40 to 100 beats per minute. As can be seen on this chart, your resting heart rate can vary with your fitness level and with age. The fitter you are, generally the lower the resting heart rate. There is more information and instructions on how and when to measure resting heart rate. You can also monitor your heart rate during exercise to determine your fitness level.

My heart rate is "excellent"

this is even though I'm fat!

eta: right now it is 59

eta2: in spite of the three cups of coffee I've already had today!

my resting HR usually between 75-85. I don't know why it's so high, I'm underweight if anything and exercise pretty regularly.

That's p high brg

Fuzzy you have bradycardia and you share this wondrous thing with dubya

(so do I :gun: )

(don't worry unless you feel tired or faint its actually not a bad thing)

(except for when slow heart rate and low blood pressure combine and you collapse in the hospital and need to be given atropine...good times)

My resting heartrate is between 80-100

But I've had an electro- and echocardiogram, and nobody told me afterwards I need to be concerned or do anything, so.

I've been told for females that this is ok.

I do tend to almost faint whenever people take any of my blood. Or whenever I have surgery. In total that amounts to about about three times in my life ever, though.

You are supposed to take it shortly after waking up before moving around too much. You'll get lower numbers that way I bet!

Like flushing out the radiator?

Probably a good idea once in a while, knock the plaque loose, and run it through some kind of Osterizer tap in your toe or something...

No doctor's ever said anything about it, though. My blood pressure is pretty much right in the middle of the normal range. but I can knock myself out if I stand up really fast!
