as an american living in Canada, I can assure you that the Canadian dollar is still worth less than the american dollar.

iirc, we deliberately devalue our currency to make our exports cheaper abroad. and something about the remnants of bretton-woods makes it so that other countries can't do anything about it.

We have been on a campaign to overthrow nations which are not in-line with central banking since the 90's. It was never about oil.

yes. and no. i live in baja sur. reserve currency transfers are always hard on the country that looses dominance. look at uk after bretton-woods.
