I keep saying that? Really? The issue with your claim is that repeatedly listed your night actions and justified them in separate posts - posting multiple times like that can make you seem defensive. You compounded the problem by doing an exceptionally crappy job of justifying your second night action. Instead of flailing (final vote on post 14 of day 3? really?) and continually FoSing damian, you could have just said:

"I protected ksen last night because he seems cleared to me and fucking serious didn't tell me whether or not I could protect myself"

That approach leverages the popular perception that serious is a bad GM, clarifies why you didn't protect yourself and explains your choice. Now, I probably would have asked you why you didn't just tell serious that you wanted to protect yourself but that your backup choice was ksen, but it still would have been a much better conversation for you. My point about cockrell is that he claimed with all relevant info in one place and calmly answered the (quite valid) follow-up questions.

btw, on night 1, i actually told serious i wanted to protect myself if i could, but wanted to protect ravenscape if i couldn't. that's in addition to explicitly asking him if i could protect myself. got no reply to that, so i wiki'ed and saw that docs normally can't protect themselves. from that i assumed incorrectly that i had protected raven on night 1, and told you guys that when you asked. didn't realize i had actually protected myself until i got an answer out of serious a couple days later, and i figured if i set the record straight on that it would look like a flip-flop and get me lynched. i still believed i couldn't protect myself when i protected ksen. didn't bother doing the 1st choice/2nd choice thing then b/c i figured i just couldn't protect myself and assumed serious hadn't answered me for a reason.
